Cattle Watching

At certain times of the year we invite cattle on to the reserve for free meals. Cattle grazing is benefical for maintaining the grassland and improving the biodiversity

If you are a regular visitor to the reserve you could become a cattle watcher. It's easy, all you need to do is count the cattle and make sure they are in the right area. You may walk in the non public areas if required to count them and if there is a problem simply phone the contacts given to you.

Our aim is that cattle watchers would only need to do this once a week – so can you help.

If you are interested, please use the contact form and select "Site liaison" as the reason
