Conservation Work Parties

Conservation work parties at Moor Green Lakes start at 10:30 and continue until about 15:30 or 16:00. Anyone is welcome, including non-members; just turn up. Volunteers are welcome to attend for just a few hours even if they can't spare time for the whole session.

Typically work parties are on one Tuesday and one Sunday each the month, but check the home page for the latest schedule as date can change

Protective equipment and tools are provided for the tasks planned, but you will need to dress in suitable clothing; brambles feature in most of the activities, so old clothing is recommended.

Tea/coffee and biscuits are provided, you may want to bring a packed lunch if you are staying all day. Assemble at the Car Park off Lower Sandhurst Road by 10:30 unless otherwise instructed.

If you are interested in being kept up to date with the tasks and news of work parties, then contact Simon Weeks, the Site Liaison Officer on 0118 9730199, or use the contact form with "Work Parties" as the reason
